Our first market season exceeded expectations
2026 was our first year of production — and local support took us further than we planned, with more markets, subscriptions and restaurant interest than expected.
We’re closing this year’s flower and veg sales in September so we can double the planted area, build a wash station and produce storage, improve crop protection and shade, and return stronger from April 2027.

What We’re Growing Toward
Between now and April 2027, we’re doubling the land we plant, building a new wash station and produce storage, improving crop protection and shade, and preparing regular flower and veg subscriptions, more markets and expanded direct business sales. Lamb boxes remain planned for October–December 2026.

Why Local, Seasonal Produce Matters
Throughout our 2026 season, flowers were cut close to collection and vegetables harvested at peak ripeness for flavour and freshness. We grow without chemicals, working with healthy soil, biodiversity and long-term care for the land. Our local model keeps food and flower miles low.

After years in office jobs and raising four boys, we bought a small farm in Barwell and began learning our land. What We Grow
Our 2026 flower and vegetable season proved the strength of local demand. Lamb boxes are planned for October–December 2026, followed by an expanded seasonal flower and veg programme — including regular subscriptions — from April 2027. We’re refining varieties, quantities and logistics while keeping food and flower miles low.

We are now using what we learned about varieties, volumes and logistics to build expanded trade supply from April 2027 — alongside regular subscriptions, more markets and more direct business sales.
